Glasgow, the city that has won the City to City Barcelona FAD Award 2013, explains Stalled Spaces through its administrators. This initiative has the objective of giving temporary use to abandoned lands in the city, transforming them into spaces managed by the community to favour an urban revitalising process. The project forms part of the Glasgow Open Space Strategy, a programme that through improving the spaces open to the citizens, seeks to activate the economy and favour the community’s vitality.
